Refund Policy


We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Seated Home Inc. reserves the right to request photographs as proof of product condition when considering a return/refund.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@seatedhome.com. If your return request is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted and the customer may incur additional shipping costs associated with it. Please note there may be a restocking fee applied on the return or exchange, and that the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. 

Please note we do not accept returns for buyer's remorse, or if the product does not fit through doorways, or within your space. 

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded to your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time (usually 3-5 business days) for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. Any shipping fees paid on the original order are non-refundable.

Damages and Issues 

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 48 hours if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right as soon as possible. Please take pictures of the packaging, and product, as these will be used to assess the situation. If evidence is not produced, we cannot accept the return. 


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items 

Certain types of items cannot be returned, including but not limited to sale or clearance items, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), As-Is or Open Box products, or gift cards/store credit. Once the product packaging has been removed or your product is in an open condition, we are unable to provide a refund, and will assess the product for an exchange or store credit. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
